Creative Writing Workshop Course – Armagh I

The John Hewitt International Summer School has come to Armagh for its 35th year. The busy five-day festival of literature, arts and politics is due to start on Monday July 25 at the Market Place Theater in Armagh.

The John Hewitt International Summer is a landmark event in the cultural calendar that welcomes local, national and international writers and thinkers from literature, politics, media and the arts. It celebrates the joy of writing and speaking in all its forms, from poetry to politics, from prose to performance.

Championing the best in writing, it provides platforms for established and emerging literary talent to inspire each other and inspire audiences. With a reputation as a powerful forum for exchanging views on a wide range of issues – literary, political, ethical, social or cultural – we strive to encourage writers and readers to take risks and find pleasure in writing and literature.
